Stuffed Mushrooms

  • small white mushrooms
  • package softened cream cheese
  • flavored bread crumbs
  • lemon juice
  • butter
  • celery stalk diced
  • small onion chopped
  • chopped green pepper
Clean mushrooms. Remove stems and chop.

Put cream cheese in medium size bowl.

Heat butter in frying pan, add chopped stems, celery, onions, and green peppers. Saute until soften.

Add mixture to cream cheese, mix. Add bread crumbs and lemon juice. Mix well. Stuff mushroom caps. Place stuffed mushroom caps stuffed side up on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees or until lighly browned.

Serve hot or cold.
