Tomato Salad


  • Servings: 4

  • Marinate: 20m

  • olive oil
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • minced garlic
  • chopped basil leaves
  • oregano
  • sugar
  • red wine vinegar
  • ripe tomatoes diced into bite size pieces
Add all of the ingredients in the bowl you plan to set on the table.

Wash, core, and cut into bite size pieces enough ripe tomatoes to make 6 cups (about 6-8).

Add the rest of the ingredients. Toss. taste liquid and adjust to taste.

It may need more salt, vinegar, or sugar (if it's tarte). Cover bowl.

Refrigerate about 20 minutes. Serve with crusty bread.

Best using fresh ingredients.
