Mashed Potatoes

  • salt

  • butter

- Peal, wash, quarter, and put potatoes in pot.
- Fill with water just to cover the potatoes with a little bit of room.
- Make sure potatoes are covered.
- Cook let them come to a boil and until you touch them with a fork there cooked. Approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Heat about 3/4 cup milk.
- Drain but save some of the liquid good for gravy. Approximately 1 cup.
- Use a masher and add butter milk and salt as you go.
- Season to taste.

Note:
Use yukon gold or all purpose patatoes

Two for each person and one for the pot is a general rule of thumb for the number of potatoes. Well need 5 potatoes for 4 servings.
